Guest Professor at The Bhawanipur Education Society College

I recently had the opportunity to step into a new role that felt both exciting and meaningful — beginning my journey as a Guest Professor at The Bhawanipur Education Society College.

My first session was with the second-year students of the Bhawanipur Design Academy, where I taught Social Media and Digital Marketing. Walking into the classroom for the first time brought a mix of excitement and responsibility. Teaching is very different from building or shipping work yourself — it pushes you to slow down, explain your thinking clearly, and question your own assumptions.

The focus of the sessions was practical learning. Beyond theory, I wanted students to understand how social media and digital marketing actually function in the real world — how strategies are built, how platforms behave, how audiences think, and how creativity and structure need to work together. We spoke about industry realities, current trends, and how designers and marketers can position themselves meaningfully in an increasingly crowded digital space.

Over the course of teaching the batch, what stood out most was the curiosity and openness of the students. Their questions, perspectives, and willingness to experiment made the experience genuinely enjoyable. It felt less like a one-way lecture and more like a shared exchange of ideas, which is exactly how learning should be.

I’ve now finished teaching this batch, and I can honestly say it was a great experience. It was rewarding to contribute, even in a small way, to the growth of students who are just beginning their professional journeys.

I’m looking forward to returning next year and teaching a new batch in 2026. This experience has reinforced how important it is to pass on practical knowledge, context, and clarity — and I’m grateful for the opportunity to do so.
