On January 8, 2023, the temperature was a chilly 13 degrees Celsius as I woke up early in the morning during the winter. At 5am, I met my friend Souvik at Victoria Memorial and we embarked on a photo walk.

Our first stop was Maidan, where we captured the beautiful sunrise and the misty fog that blanketed the area. It was a peaceful and serene atmosphere, with the soft light of the sun casting a warm glow on the surroundings.

Next, we headed to Prinsep Ghat, where we took photos of the Vidyasagar Setu Bridge and the boats on the river. The bridge, which spans the Hooghly River, was a magnificent sight, with its towering pillars and sleek design. The boats on the river, meanwhile, added a touch of movement and liveliness to the scene.

Finally, we ended our journey at New Market, where we captured the hustle and bustle of the busy market.

Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable morning spent with a dear friend, capturing the beauty and diversity of the city through our cameras. The chill in the air, the peacefulness of the foggy morning, the hustle and bustle of the market and the beauty of the sunrise and the bridge, all made for a great experience.
